About Us
KCBigDawgs was founded out of the love for the breed . Once my wife and I purchased our first Oldie 3 years ago, we knew that we had to share them with everyone. Originally we wanted to purchase an AKC English Bulldog, but we were unsure once we heard about all the health problems English were prone to. Therefore, I began to research bully breeds and found that Olde English Bulldogges had the look that we loved from the AKC English, but lacked all the health problems. I was impressed by the fact that they could breed and deliver their puppies naturally. The most impressive thing for me, was the fact that Oldies could ran and play in all types of weather without passing out and dying from the lack of air as some AKC English have done. This was important because my wife and I have 3 children and we are a very active family. Once I told my wife about the Oldie breed, she was hooked as well.
When we began our search to purchase our first pup, we found that there were not many quality breeders in our area (this was the main reason why we decided to breed). We wanted to provide quality Olde English Bulldogges to everyone in the MidWest. Therefore, we purchased our foundation stock from several States: AR, WI, PA, and AL and formed what is now called KCBIGDAWGS!
